The NJ2-11-N-G is a high-precision inductive proximity sensor manufactured by Pepperl+Fuchs, designed for non-contact target detection of metallic objects in demanding industrial automation and explosive environments. Featuring a flush (embeddable) mounting design with a 2 mm nominal operating distance, this 2-wire NAMUR sensor operates on a Normally Closed (NC) switching logic and supports fast switching frequencies up to 3 kHz.

Constructed with a rugged AISI 303 stainless steel housing and a chemical-resistant PVDF sensing surface, it carries an IP68 protection rating for complete submersibility and harsh liquid exposure. Intrinsically safe by design, the NJ2-11-N-G holds global ATEX and IECEx certifications for hazardous dust and gas zones, and is certified for safety-instrumented systems up to SIL 2 according to IEC 61508.
