The IFT205 (IFTB004-ASKG/M/V4A/US-104-DRS) is a high-grade inductive proximity sensor manufactured by IFM Electronic, specifically engineered for non-contact target detection in hygienic, food and beverage, and sanitary industrial applications. Featuring a threaded M12 stainless steel housing with a flush installation design, it offers a 4 mm sensing range and operates on a 3-wire DC system with PNP switching logic (Normally Open).

Built from high-grade 316L stainless steel (1.4404) and a food-safe PEEK active face, the sensor is IP68/IP69K rated to withstand high-pressure, high-temperature washdown procedures and aggressive cleaning chemicals. It supports point-to-point communication via IO-Link, enabling digital parameter setting and condition monitoring for automated control systems.
