The SIMOCODE pro S basic unit is a compact, autonomous motor management system that provides comprehensive protection, control, and diagnostic monitoring for asynchronous electric motors. Operating independently of the primary automation host, it handles diverse starter configurations—including direct-on-line (DOL), reversing, star-delta (wye-delta), soft starter, and motor protector setups.

Featuring an integrated PROFIBUS DP communications interface operating up to 1.5 Mbit/s, the controller transmits real-time operational, maintenance, and fault data to higher-level process control architectures. The unit includes four digital inputs and two monostable relay outputs—all fully parameterizable—alongside a dedicated thermistor input for direct thermal protection.
