Operational Architecture

Automatic Mapping: Upon startup, the coupler automatically scans and identifies all locally connected digital, analog, and specialty I/O modules. It builds an internal process image, prioritizing multi-byte analog data before packing single-bit digital signals into organized bytes.

Power Distribution: Incorporates an integrated 24 VDC power supply unit. It powers internal electronics via the 5V system bus (up to 1,650 mA) while routing field power to downstream modules via built-in 10A power jumper contacts.

Isolation Protection: Built-in 500V galvanic isolation separates the fieldbus system from internal logic and field-level circuitry to shield against voltage spikes and electrical noise.
